DESCRIPTION

This is a baseclass that provides some essential functions necessary for dumping data structures. It is subclassed by Data::Dumper::Default, which implements the methods that are finally doing the output.

METHODS

A Data::Dumper::Base object has the following methods:

style."prepare"( dumper, indent )
(pos, name) = style."cache"( find, defname ) (internal)
indent = style."createIndent"() (internal)
indent = style."indent"()
(subindent,indent) = style."newIndent"()
indent = style."deleteIndent"()
style."dump"( name, dump )
